Fifty-Eight

I walked my first 5K today. I came in at 58 minutes and sundry seconds. (I forgot to write those down.) Not too bad, considering I was flattened by a nasty round in influenza this week, and added a two minute detour back to my car mid-race to fetch Gus, my iPod. (Yes, I walk faster with musical accompaniment.) 'Twas a slow first, but, hopefully, a first of many.
